We are always open to considering applications from self-employed, experienced and knowledgeable local building and groundwork contractors within Sussex, Surrey and Kent. Particularly those that are used to working within private residential homes and have appreciation for customer service. It is extremely important that we can confidently introduce you to our clients. Attention to detail, reliability, tidiness, safety, politeness and good communication are essential; ensuring peace of mind during the client project experience.

Typical project works tend to involve the foundations, drainage and brickworks for a conservatory or orangery, completed to high standards. Also, require associated trades to be arranged and efficiently coordinated i.e. plasterer, decorator, electrician, heating engineer, carpenter. Projects often include the opportunity to provide additional hard or soft landscaping services separate to the main glazed extension project.

Requirements:

Provide clients with detailed written quotation proposals.
Attend pre-contract and pre-project commencement site meetings.
Excavate and lay foundations, including drainage/soakaways.
Erect brickwork to a high standard. Achieve accurate finished levels.
Install cavity trays when required.
Install steel lintels and steels for new openings.
Work within building regulations, to high standards and liaise with building control as required.
Ensure site cleanliness and demonstrate safety at all times.
Have a professional manner, ensuring client focussed experience at all times.
Provide Public liability insurance.
Provide own transportation, equipment, plant hire and materials for each project.

Additional:

Contract and agreed payment terms are either direct with our client, or at times, projects may require you to work under a turn-key contact solution through Hallmark Glazed Extensions Ltd.
Our Installation Manager will liaise with you in advance and throughout your aspect of the project works, providing technical construction drawings and support.
