Orangery for listed property in Romsey

We had the pleasure of designing and building a beautiful orangery for a listed property in Romsey, Hampshire. Featuring Gardenia-painted hardwood frames, this elegant garden room seamlessly blends with the home's classic architecture.

Flooded with natural light, it provides a tranquil space for our client to relax and enjoy the stunning garden views throughout the year. Here's what Mrs. Gray had to say about her experience with us:

I am delighted with the orangery. I already had a conservatory, made of soft wood, which had got beyond repair. However I wanted to retain the existing walls and floor, as this runs through much of the ground floor of the cottage. From the beginning, they were receptive to my wishes, while making sure that it would not compromise the finished product.

The design complements my listed cottage and they efficiently handled the process of gaining planning permission. The orangery is constructed of sapele hardwood, painted to match the rest of the cottage. It also has bifolds, which are wider than the previous doors. Although it has the same footprint as the original conservatory, it seems a lot bigger.

From start to finish, I was very impressed by their customer service..from the unexpected gifts they sent to their prompt replies to any queries.

Mark and Ed worked through horrible weather, with good grace and courtesy. They were a pleasure to have on site and their workmanship was excellent. They left the site in perfect order.

After care has also been good.. so all in all, I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending.'
