Design and Planning
The initial design and planning stage is one of the most important phases in the creation of your very own garden room or orangery.
As part of our team, we have friendly designers that can help you to take the image that comes into your head, and put it onto paper, cutting out the requirement and cost of an architect.
During this stage we usually ask about the financial investment you have allocated to your project.
This is where we find that the project is then split into three areas for consideration.
A Budget - This is the financial amount that you are comfortable with contributing to your new home living space. It is often known for a budget to extend due to personal requirements but for a starter the designer needs to know the initial financial parameters ie. £50-40K.
A Wish List - This is all of the features that you would ideally love to have as part of your new garden room or orangery.
A Priority List - This is a list of all the features that you need and must have in your new garden room or orangery. In general, this is a list of everything that cannot be compromised on. I.e. A bright airy room that provides views of the garden or a room that combines a kitchen and living room whilst creating a sense of natural flow with the garden patio.
Conservatories or Orangeries which is best for your living space

Your priority list can be influenced by a number of different factors; for example, you may need to have a glass roof, so as not to restrict any natural light into your existing home.
Or you may need certain material requirements based on your property, or your location.
Different things will be in either the priority list, or the wish list, for different people.
Of course, in the end your budget will always provide a limiting factor to exactly how long your wish list can be.
