All orangeries and conservatories feature glazing, and it has been known in the past that the more glass you have in your extension, the easier it is for heat to get in during the summer and disperse out in the winter. However, this does not need to be the case anymore.
All of our extensions will feature thermal efficiency solar controlled glazing. What this will mean is that heat will remain in your living space during the wintertime, whilst in the summer you will remain cool.
This allows your extension to be usable all year round without the need to over-use your central heating or AC units.

The most important three factors to consider when designing your glazed extension, whether it be a glass roof conservatory, glazed lantern roof orangery or tiled roof garden room, is the glass specification and ventilation.
