What is the purpose and function required?
It is important to understand what you like or want to change about your existing property and why you want to use your new space. Recommendations are provided regarding appropriate design style to suit existing design, there are many differing home designs, from architects designs on new build estates, existing estates, semi-detached, detached all taken into account, whether you are based in Sussex, Kent or Surrey we consider you design uniquely and also agree a size to suit your requirements.
For additional advice and to assist you compile questions you may wish to present to us, Which? provides good, trusted advice that can help you with our initial meeting with you.
The aesthetics?
Why a conservatory, orangery, or garden room? Have you seen a design that you like? What are the best frame choices such as aluminium, painted hardwood or PVCu? Prefer an orangery roof lantern over an all-glass conservatory roof? French doors or Bi fold doors? Our design experts will advise you on all the options.
Technical specifications?
Is planning or building regs required? We look after this for you. Is a new base required? Depends on the existing foundations. Will it be Too hot or cold? We only use the best solar control glazing, ensuring all year-round use. These are just some of the questions we get asked.
The most important two factors to consider when designing your glazed extension, whether it be a glass roof conservatory, glazed lantern roof orangery or tiled roof garden room, is the glass specification and ventilation. If you get this wrong you will have an expensive space that won’t work for you and will probably be too
Return on your investment?
We understand everyone has an initial budget in mind when they first enquire. It’s important to openly establish this so that your designer can provide you with the best solution and realistic investment required.
There are quite a few things to consider when committing to a glazed extension like a garden room, conservatory or an orangery project. One area we like to discuss in more detail is the question of financial investment required and the reality of a budget versus a wish list.At Hallmark Glazed Extensions we realise that
Often it can be hard for clients to visualise what the new glass extension, conservatory or orangery looks like, therefore, based on the above conversation we provide you with 3D design concepts, this gives you a real image of what the end design will be, working closely with you to ensure your dream becomes reality.
