Get ready—The Hailsham Community Run 2025 is coming soon, and it's shaping up to be the best one yet!
We're excited to share that our company will sponsor the 10k race for the third straight year. Cllr Mary Laxton and Cllr Karen Nicholls, who organise the event, have set the date for Sunday, May 18th 2025.
This run has grown into a key part of the local community's yearly events bringing Hailsham residents and people from all over East Sussex together to enjoy time with family, friends, and fellow runners.
The 2025 Hailsham Community Run is shaping up to be a special event. A great group of local businesses joins us. They care about supporting our town as much as we do. We team up with Stevens & Carter Sales & Lettings Agents, The Royal Indian, The Alinker, Lightning Fibre, Roland Dunn Sales & Lettings, and the race providers Sports Systems. We all aim to make this event a success for everyone taking part.

The Event Details
Following a sold-out event in 2024, the Hailsham Community Run is back with four exciting races to suit runners of every ability:
1 Mile Race - Start time: 10.00 am
Alinker and Colston sponsor this inclusive disability race, which suits people of all ages and skill levels, ensuring everyone can join in and receive a medal.
3k Race - Start time: 09.30 am
Hailsham Town Council sponsors this race, which is great for young runners or anyone who wants to try a shorter, yet still fulfilling, distance.
5k Race - Start time: 10.30 am
Backed by The Royal Indian, the 5k race offers runners a chance to push themselves with a doable yet fulfilling distance.
10k Race - Start time: 10.30 am
With support from Hallmark Glazed Extensions, this race invites both seasoned runners and those who've built up endurance over the last year to test their limits on the hilly roads in and around Hailsham.
Community Collaboration
This event goes beyond just running; it celebrates our town. The organisers’ vision and the amazing backing from local community and businesses make it happen. DJ Neil Povey deserves a shout-out. He'll be our MC and host at the Beehive Tent where runners get their medals, and he'll keep the mood up with lively tunes between races. Also, Hailsham United Junior Football Club provides many of our event marshals. We all take pride in making this event the best for Hailsham.
